A distinguished alumnus of East Aurora High School in Aurora, IL, Coach Ruben was a shining star on the baseball diamond. He maintained an unbroken record as a Varsity Starter for four years, consistently leading the team in hitting and RBI.

Ruben carried his baseball prowess into his college years, playing for Waubonsee Community College. His impressive track record continued as he led his team in both hits and home runs. Following his successful tenure at Waubonsee, Ruben furthered his athletic journey at the University of Dubuque in Iowa. Regrettably, an injury cut his promising playing career short.

Today, Ruben brings his wealth of experience and knowledge to his coaching role. Not only is he a specialist in Hitting and Catching Instruction, but he also presently serves as the dedicated Head Coach of a youth baseball team for Top Tier West powered by K25 Baseball Academy. His passion for the game continues to inspire young athletes under his guidance.
